Our Theatre

On Friday, we do theatre. We have done two plays:

Lady Moneybags.

It is Lady Moneybags's birthday, and she goes to a restaurant to celebrate. The restaurant is very bad. When they finish dinner, two robbers come to take Lady Moneybags' diamonds. But Pedro and Jimmy, the waiter and the chef, stop the robbers and give back the diamonds.
It is a funny play.

That film star stole my backpack

There's a trial because Dan West(the film star) stole Tracy Carter's backpack. Mrs Big is Dan's lawyer and Mr Small is Carter's lawyer. At the end, Dan West confesses he stole her backpack

When we went to the swimming pool we were for a few minutes in the tour of France. One man gave us big hands and the teachers took photographs. And after that we went to the swimming pool .

In the summer camp, we are doing projects. There are four groups:

Group 1: Denisse, Laura, Jana and Marta. The title of this project is: "Couples of the Future".

Group 2: Helena, Ariadna and Cristina. The title of this project is: "Movie Quiz".

Group 3: Gaston, Aleix, Xavier, Robert and Fabricio. The title of this project is: "The Magicians".

Group 4: Pol, Marc, Guillem, Mayur, Joaquim and Arnau. The title of this project is : "We are Michael Jackson".

Michael Jackson died two weeks ago.

The doctors told us he had a cardiac arrest.

But everybody knows he takes alot of medicines like morphine.

We're Ariadna&Cris from the summer camp.

We're here in the computer room while the others are making a "Grandma's cake". Then we eat it together.

THEATRE THE ZAWOSE FAMILY

We went to the Municipal Theatre to see the Zawose Family. They are a family from Tanzania. It was very funny and educational. There were people dancing and playing traditional African music. In the Theatre, there were children from other summer schools.

COOKING

CHEESE PIZZA

How to make the pizza dough. Use half a packet of Aragonesa flour, special flour for pizzas. Heat 125 ml water and mix with the flour for one minute.

Add two spoonfuls of olive oil, little bit of salt and oregano. Mix for 3 minutes.

Leave the dough for 20 minutes.

Pre-heat the oven 200 c

Grandmother's cake

You need:

1 lemon yoghurt

taking the yoghurt as one mesure

2 measures of sugar

3 measure of flour

3 eggs

1/2 measure of olive oil

a pinch of salt

1 envelope of Royal Baking Powder

Before starting, preheat the oven to 180ªC. Mix together the yoghurt, sugar and the yolks (yellow parts of the eggs). Add the flour, salt and baking powder. Mix well and add the oil. Whip the whites of the eggs. Add these to the mixture. Put butter or special cooking paper in the pan and pour the mixture into the pan. Cook for 25 minutes

If you want a chocolate cake:

Ingredients:

1+¼ cup (140 g) all-purpose flour

2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder (dutched/dark)

2 teaspoons baking powder2 pinches salt1 cup (220 g) sugar

1 tablespoon vanilla essence

½ cup (1.2 dl) milk or water

½ cup (1.2 dl)

vegetable oil (flavorless)

2 eggs

1. Preheat oven to 350 deg F (Gas mark 4 or 180 deg C)
2.Grease a 9 inch (23 cm) cake tin.
3.Mix flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, salt, sugar and vanilla essence in a bowl.
4.Add milk/water, vegetable oil and eggs.
5.Mix everything together until smooth, either by hand or by using an electric mixer at slow speed. If the batter is too runny you may add slightly more flour.
6.Transfer to bake tin and bake at 350 degrees until a wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean, approximately 35 to 45 minutes.
7.After the cake has cooled, slice the cake through the middle to make two layers (easier if the cake has been in the fridge).
